It's not.. the cushions are held in place by connecting the arms, the wheels snap into the base, the base must be attached to the bottom cushion. It takes a bit of strength to line things up, but it isn't too hard.

it is not assembled but you literally have steps... you put the pulls on, is very easy to slide in base, you put a a bar in the middle of base through the bottom, you put the arms on and then u put the top/bottom of chair on the bar that is connected to the base, simple

No, it's in parts but is easily assembled - many parts just slipping together, like putting the casters under the base. The others just require knowledge of a #3 Phillips tip screw driver.
I use a screw gun, but VERY carefully!
Just make sure you don't tighten the arms up to the seat and chair back until you have all of the screws IN place for both arms and started without cross threading any.
Then tighten as you would lug nuts or head bolts, i.e. in a pattern until ALL are equally tight.

No. It is an easy assembly though. I am 66 years old and had no problem putting it together.

The seat is soft but firm. It does not rock. There is a slight tilt position. I use it but some people do not. You should not use a rocking type of chair when working at a desk.

yes it reclines, you can adjust the stiffness of the recline by adjusting the tension knob under the chair.

Not the softest. It is comfortable, but its more of a firm style cushion. It tilts back and rocks nicely. There is a tension adjuster for the rocking as well.

The pillow top seat is more toward the knees. Where you actually sit is not that thick. Yes, it does tilt back and rock or you can lock it in place.

Thanks everyone for their responses! I just got the chair today, and although it doesn't recline, it's cushy enough to completely relax back. Not stiff at all, somewhat springy. You've all helped me make the right choice - What a great chair!

This Boss chair does not recline. There is a larger more expensive one that might but you would have to call the company to find out. There is no reason to have a reclining chair to work at your desk and/or computer. That would be a different kind of chair.

This is a great computer chair. When I was setting it up, I noticed that the screws weren't in a little bag like they usually are. So I checked the box and other plastic bags and didn't find the screws. I was thinking--this can't be happening to me. I remember thinking I got a computer chair that came with no screws. I was starting to become disappointed because I thought it came with no screws. I then went online to see what kind of screws I needed and found this website of this guy saying that he too was wondering where the screws were at. Come to find out the screws are on the chair. THE SCREWS ARE SCREWED INTO THE CHAIR. LOOK ON THE CHAIR, THE SCREWS ARE ON THE CHAIR. YOU CAN'T MISS IT. I remember seeing the screws, but it never dawned me that they were there all along. Also the chair tilts, but when I assembled it I assembled it wrong. I had the seat backwords and changed it later. When you are assembling the chair take the time to understand the directions, that is why they are there for you. I would definitly buy this chair again and will do a better job of reading the directions next time.

This chair was very hard for me to put together. I do not know if it was me or the chait but the screws where the arm connects to the seats was hard to get in. It took me about an hour to get it finished. vIt is pretty comfortable once it is done and I am 6 foot, 300+ pounds.

Hard to put together

The only problem I had was getting the bolts out of the bottom of the seat cushion. Once of I noticed they had Lock Tite on them. @ of the bolts I tried just about everything to get them out. Finally after about 20 they broke free. Overall I am pleased with Chair.
